Toys have been with us ever since we can remember but parents tend to think that they should get something more fun than educational for their kids to break away from the routine of educational toys.
However, it is not necessarily true that educational toys cannot be fun and fun toys cannot be educational. In fact, the truth is educational toys can be truly fun-filled and fun toys are many times very educational. They are complementary to each other rather than mutually exclusive. The reason is actually really simple, because we learn best when we are having fun. In a sense, this applies to adults as well.
Thus, the secret to giving your kids a truly fun and educational toy does not lie in the toy itself, it is the process of playing it that makes it fun and educational.
